Check NowThe Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has postponed the CA Intermediate, Final exams 2025 scheduled for September 3 and 4 in some cities of Punjab and Jammu only due to heavy rains and floods. The revised exam dates for CA Inter, Final September 2025 exams will be announced in "due course" on the official website, icai.org.
ICAI CA exams 2025 have been postponed in Punjab's Amritsar, Bathinda, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Mandi Gobindgarh, Pathankot, Patiala and Sangrur; and Jammu.
"It is announced for general information that in view of the incessant rainfall and flood situation, the Chartered Accountants Final & Intermediate Examinations which are scheduled on 3 rd and 4th September 2025 stand postponed in Amritsar, Bathinda, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Mandi Gobindgarh, Pathankot, Patiala and Sangrur (i.e. cities in the State of Punjab) and Jammu City only," says ICAI announcement.

The institute clarified that other particulars or details regarding the CA September 2025 exams, announced earlier, will remain unchanged. ICAI will now issue a separate ICAI CA admit card 2025 for the new exam dates.
ICAI CA exams 2025
CA Inter exams 2025 were scheduled between September 4 and 15, with Group 1 papers on September 4, 7 and 9, and Group 2 papers on September 11, 13 and 15. On the other hand, CA Final exams 2025 were going to take place on September 3, 6 and 8 for Group 1, and on September 10, 12, and 14 for Group 2.
30 people have died and more than 3.5 lakh have been impacted in Punjab by floods. The state chief minister Bhagwant Mann visited the affected areas along with the governor on September 2. All 23 districts have been declared flood-hit. Whereas in Jammu, over 110 people lost their lives due to rains, flashfloods, and cloudbursts.
