Download NowNEW DELHI: Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations has further reduced Syllabus for ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) exams 2022. ICSE reduced syllabus for subjects like History and Civics, Geography, Mathematics, etc. Students can get more information on the official website of CISCE, cisce.org.
The decision has been taken in view of the worsening situation of COVID-19 in the country. ICSE has initiated the process of syllabus review for several subjects at the ICSE and ISC levels specifically for Class 10 and 12 exams 2022. This is done to identify the portion of the syllabus which may be reduced, without compromising the quality of content.

On July 2, CISCE released the reduced syllabi for English and Indian languages at the ICSE and ISC levels. After that, CISCE has released another circular, adding more subjects for syllabus reduction.
Here is the complete list of subjects for which ICSE syllabus has been reduced.
For Class 12: English and Indian Language, Accounts, Commerce, Economics, Business Studies, History, Political Science, Geography, Sociology, Psychology, Computer Science, Biotechnology, Environmental Science.
For Class 10: English and Indian Language, History and Civics, Geography, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, Commercial studies, Computer Applications, Economics Applications, Commercial Applications, Environmental Applications, Home Science, Physical Education, Yoga.
CISCE is expected to release the ISC and ICSE result 2021 for cancelled exams by July 31, 2021.
