IET India Scholarship Award 2024 registration starts at scholarships.theietevents.com; apply till May 31
Institution of Engineering and Technology will offer scholarships worth Rs 10 lakhs to students in AICTE or UGC-approved institutes.

NEW DELHI: Institution of Engineering and Technology has invited applications for the eighth edition of IET India Scholarship Award. IET will award scholarships worth Rs 10 lakh to students pursuing higher studies in AICTE or UGC-approved institutes. Students can apply for the scholarship on the official website, scholarships.theietevents.com, till May 31.
IET will announce the list of shortlisted candidates between June 26 to 28. The IET scholarship 2024 exam will be held from July 3 to 5. Following this regional rounds will be held and winners of the IET Scholarship Award 2024 will be announced on September 2.
Students applying for the scholarship should have cleared all courses in a single attempt. They should have passed undergraduate programmes with at least 60% aggregate marks or CGPA of at least 6.0 in a 10 point scale
Parameters to evaluate candidates
Applicants will be evaluated across parameters such as academic performance, extracurricular activities, range of outreach activities and their ability to come up with creative engineering solutions to solve societal challenges. Students will be shortlisted based on their academic performance and extracurricular activities In the first round.
They will have to then appear for an online test on science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) subjects and technical expertise. Students who will be shortlisted will have to then present their technological solution to a pertinent societal challenge in the regional rounds. Regional winners finally battle it out in the national finals to win the title.

The IET India Scholarship Award 2024 advisory board consists of prominent academicians and nationally recognised corporate leaders. The committee is chaired by Jadavpur University former vice-chancellor Abhijit Chakrabarti.
