SC's decision on final year exams
A bench of three Supreme Court judges led by Justice Ashok Bhushan, on Friday ruled out any possibilities of cancelling final year exams citing the University Grant Commission (UGC) revised guidelines. The guidelines direct all the universities to conduct the final year exams by the end of September. The apex court said that the state has the liberty to defer the examinations, if the situation to conduct examinations by September 30 is not conducive due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.
