NEW DELHI: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has delayed the release of the IGNOU hall ticket 2020 and date sheet for the June 2020 term end examinations. Now, the admit card of IGNOU TEE and date sheet will be released in the next 3-4 days. This means that the hall ticket and IGNOU date sheet 2020 will be out by the first week of September.
Careers360 spoke to an IGNOU official, who has confirmed this. According to the IGNOU official, the date sheet and admit card will be out in the next 3-4 days, while the June TEEs, which were earlier slated for the first week of September , will now be held either in the second week of September or after that.
Candidates can get access to their IGNOU hall ticket 2020 by visiting the official portal – ignou.ac.in. Earlier, it was expected that IGNOU hall ticket and date sheet would be issued anytime soon .
It must be noted that the admit card of IGNOU TEE 2020 would be issued only for the final year students, while the first and the second-year students, the IGNOU exams 2020 would be held in December. However, due to a nationwide COVID-19 lockdown, the varsity has decided to give a second chance to the final test takers. According to the provision, in case the final year test takers are unable to take the test in September, then they can again appear for the IGNOU term end exam in December 2020 .
This year, the COVID-19 has impacted all academic activities across almost all educational institutions. As a result of it, IGNOU has also shifted and rescheduled many of its academic schedules including registration, re-registration, exams, etc.
