IGNOU admission 2023-24 last date for July session extended till September 20
IGNOU Admission 2023: The university has also extended the deadline for re-registration with a late fee till September 20. Know websites to apply.

NEW DELHI : The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date for fresh admission for the July session till September 20. The university has also extended the deadline for re-registration with a late fee. Eligible students who have not applied yet can fill the application form and previous semester candidates can re-register themselves on the official website, ignou.ac.in. Earlier, the last date to apply was September 10.
The university hosts the links for fresh admission and re-registration on different websites. In case of fresh admission, for Open and Distance Learning (ODL) programmes, students will have to register at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in and for online courses, candidates will be required to apply at ignouiop.samarth.edu.in.
Whereas, the re-registration link for the July session will be available on the official website, onlinerr.ignou.ac.in. Applicants will be required to pay Rs 200 as a late fee.
“The last date for fresh admission for July 2023 cycle for all Programmes (except certificate and Semester based Programmes) for both Online and ODL mode , has been extended till 20th Sept 2023,” IGNOU said in a tweet.

“Last date for Re-Registration with late fee of Rs-200/- (for both Online and ODL mode) , has been extended till 20th Sept 2023,” it said in another tweet.
The university issued instructions for aspirants which are as follows:
- Candidates will have to provide the correct email ID and mobile number.
- Choose your courses carefully after reading the programme details.
- Exercise due caution in making the payment
- Don’t wait for the last date of submission
- Students can make payments via credit card, debit card, or net banking
Students will require the following documents for registration:
- Scanned photograph (less than 100 KB)
- Scanned signature (less than 100 KB)
- Scanned copy of relevant educational qualification (less than 200 KB)
- Scanned copy of experience certificate (if any) (less than 200 KB)
- Scanned copy of category certificate, if SC/ST/OBC (less than 200 KB)
