IGNOU Admission 2024: Registration for January session ends today

Candidates can apply at ignouiop.samarth.ac.in for online courses and at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in for ODL programmes
NEW DELHI: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will close the registration window for admission to January 2024 session today, March 20. Students who are yet to apply can register for the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and online programmes through the official website, ignou.ac.in with late fee of Rs 200. Earlier, the last date to apply was March 10.
The university conducts the registration process for online and ODL programmes separately. For online programmes, candidates will have to register at ignouiop.samarth.ac.in whereas for ODL programmes, the application form is available at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. Students can make fee payment for the courses through credit card, debit card, or net banking.
IGNOU Admission 2024: How to apply
Candidates can follow the steps given below to fill the IGNOU application form.
- Visit the official website, ignou.ac.in.
- Click on the ‘new registration’ button available on the homepage.
- Register yourselves and create login credentials
- Login with generated credentials and fill the application form
- Upload the necessary documents and pay the application fee
- Submit the form and download the confirmation page for future reference.
IGNOU January 2024 Admission: Documents required
Candidates will have to upload scanned copies of the following documents while applying for the programmes:
- Photograph (less than 100 KB)
- Signature (less than 100 KB)
- Educational qualification (less than 200 KB)
- Experience certificate (less than 200 KB)
- Category certificate (less than 200 KB).
Some of the online programmes offered at IGNOU include BA Tourism Studies, BCom, BCA, BLIS, MA Hindi, MA Journalism and Mass Communication, MA English, MA Sanskrit, MBA, MCom, MCA, PG Diploma in Sustainability Science, and more.
The ODL programmes offered by the open university include BA Economics, BA English, BA Hindi, BA History, BA (Honours) Economics, BA (Honours) History, BA (Honours) Hindi, BA (Honours) Public Administration, BA (Honours) Political Science, BA Political Science, BA Psychology, BA Public Administration, BA Sanskrit, BA Sociology, BA Urdu, BA Applied Hindi, and more.
