IGNOU conducts campus placements; Over 40 students secure job offers so far

Air India and APTARA held recruitment process for 276 students at Baba Saheb Ambedkar Auditorium, IGNOU on February 15, 2023. 48 students placed so far.

NEW DELHI: Indira Gandhi National Open University's (IGNOU) campus placement cell conducts a placement event from 9:30 AM on February 15, 2023. Two companies, Air India and APTARA recruited students through a screening process.

A total of 276 students participated in the recruitment process out of which Air India selected 48 students after the interview process. The representatives of both the companies addressed students' queries related to employment and the job role. APTARA is yet to release the information about the number of students recruited.

Addressing the participating students, IGNOU, campus placement cell, director, VP Rupam informed that the university, in collaboration with UNICEF, will be organising career awareness sessions. He asks students to participate in the programme.

In recent IGNOU news, the university has extended the registration deadline for fresh admission in January cycle till February 20, 2023. Candidates can apply for various courses at IGNOU's official website- ignousamarth.edu.in.
