IGNOU December 2025 TEE registration deadline extended till October 26 without late fee

IGNOU December TEE 2025 Admission: The exams for both ODL and online programmes will be conducted from December 1, 2025, to January 8, 2026.
Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has again extended the registration deadline for the December 2025 Term-End Examination (TEE) for both Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and online programmes. According to the notification, students can submit the IGNOU December 2025 TEE exam form without paying any late fee till October 26 through the official website at exam.ignou.ac.in.
Earlier, the deadline for the IGNOU December 2025 TEE exam was October 20 without paying any late fee. As per the official notice, candidates who miss this deadline can still submit their forms by paying a late fee of Rs 1,100 between October 27 and October 31, 2025.
“With the approval of the Competent Authority, the University has extended the last date for filling up the Online Examination Form for December 2025 Term-end-Examination for both ODL and Online Programmes,” the official notice said.

IGNOU December 2025 TEE date
IGNOU offers a wide range of courses under ODL and online modes, and the Term-End Examination is a key component for course completion and evaluation. The university will conduct the IGNOU December 2025 TEE exam from December 1, 2025, to January 8, 2026. The exams will be held in two shifts – the morning session will be held from 10 am to 1 pm, and the evening session from 2 pm to 5 pm.
To be declared qualified in the December 2025 TEE, students will have to secure a minimum of 35% marks in both theory and assignments for undergraduate courses, and 40% marks in both components for postgraduate courses. The final result is determined by the combined marks of the examination and assignments, with assignments contributing approximately 30% to the overall score.
