IGNOU Entrance Test 2024: Registrations begin at ignou.ac.in

NEW DELHI: Indira Gandhi National Open University has commenced the IGNOU entrance test 2024 registration process. The entrance exam is for BEd, BSc and PhD degrees. Interested candidates can register for IGNOU entrance test 2024 on the official website at ignou.ac.in.

The IGNOU entrance exam 2024 registrations will end on December 31, 2023. The entrance test is scheduled to be conducted on January 7, 2024 at various exam centers across the country.

The entrance examination fee is Rs. 1,000 for all programmes. Payment should be made with a credit card or a debit card issued by an Indian bank, or through internet banking.

IGNOU entrance exam 2024: PhD eligibility

Candidates who have completed 1-year or 2 semester master’s degree programme after a 4-year or 8-semester bachelor’s degree programme or a 2-year or 4-semester master’s degree programme after a 3-year or 6-semesters bachelor’s degree programme or qualifications declared equivalent to the master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate.

Equivalent qualification from a foreign educational institution accredited by an assessment and accreditation agency which is approved, recognized or authorized by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country to assess, accredit or assure quality and standards of the educational institution.
