IGNOU further extends registration deadline for July 2021 session till November 12

NEW DELHI: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date to apply for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes for the July 2021 session till November 12. Students can apply at the official website - ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.

Re-registration for the January 2022 session has also commenced. However, admission to Certificate or Diploma and PG Diploma programmes for July 2021 Session is closed.

The IGNOU registration fee can be paid using credit card, debit card, net banking and UPI. The students have to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 200 at the time of admission.

How to fill the IGNOU 2021 registration form

• Visit the official website of IGNOU (ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in)
• Now, candidates need to click on the “ Click Here for New Registration” tab.
• Fill up the IGNOU registration form by entering the required personal details.
• Select a programme and enter the required academic and contact details in the application form.
• Upload the required documents and make the fee payment in online mode.
• Take a few printouts of the duly filled registration forms.

The university has decided to exempt IGNOU admission fee for students belonging to SC and ST categories.

“In a particular admission cycle, the facility for fee exemption available to SC/ST students can be claimed for one programme only. If an applicant submits more than one application claiming fee exemption, all the applications shall be rejected,” read the notice from IGNOU.

Indira Gandhi National Open University has also released the IGNOU date sheet 2021 for December term-end exams at ignou.ac.in. The IGNOU term-end exams for December 2021 will be held from January 20 to February 22, 2022. IGNOU re-evaluation result 2021 for June 2021 TEE has been announced on October 25.
