IGNOU January 2024 admission starts at ignou.ac.in; documents required

Candidates can apply for the ODL and distance programmes under the IGNOU January 2024 admission till January 31.
NEW DELHI: The Indira Gandhi National Open University has started the registration process for the IGNOU January 2024 admission. Candidates can apply for IGNOU open distance learning (ODL) and distance programmes on the official website, ignou.ac.in.
The registration portal for IGNOU January 2024 admission will remain open till January 31, 2024. The IGNOU said students will have to pay the programme fee on online mode. The fee can be made through Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards. The fee can also be submitted using the net banking.
Once the fee has been paid, the students’ application form will be scrutinised by the university, following which a confirmation message will be sent to the registered email address of the candidate. Any discrepancy in the application form will be informed to the candidate. Once the application form has been completed, the IGNOU will inform the student about the allotment of study centre and other details for induction etc. in due course of time.
Documents required
Candidate have to upload these documents during the registration process:
- Photograph (less than 100 KB)
- Signature (less than 100 KB)
- Copy of relevant educational qualification (less than 200 KB)
- Copy of experience certificate (if any) (less than 200 KB)
- Copy of category certificate, if applicable (less than 200 KB).

Candidates can follow these steps to apply for IGNOU admission 2024:
- Go to the official website, ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in
- On the homepage, click on the link for fresh registration
- Register by filling the required details
- Login using the generated credentials
- Complete the application form and upload the required documents
- Submit the application fee and take a printout of the application form.
