IGNOU to host mega placement drive for aviation, hospitality, BDE roles on Jan 27

IGNOU’s on-campus placement drive will take place at the BR Ambedkar Convention Centre in Maidan Garhi, New Delhi.
The Indira Gandhi National Open University’s (IGNOU) Campus Placement Cell (CPC) will host an IGNOU on-campus mega placement drive 2026 on January 27. The placement drive will take place at the BR Ambedkar Convention Centre, IGNOU Campus, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi, from 10 am onwards.
“The placement drive is exclusively open to IGNOU students and alumni and aims to provide diverse employment opportunities across the hospitality, business development, travel, and aviation sectors, reinforcing IGNOU’s commitment to enhancing learner employability and industry readiness,” the official IGNOU statement said.
Candidates can register in advance through the QR codes provided in the placement notices under the announcements tab on the university’s official website, ignou.ac.in.
Candidates will have to report dressed in formals with two updated CVs, two recent passport-size photographs, an IGNOU identity card, a government-issued ID, and relevant educational and experience documents.

Several eading organisations will participate in the drive, including YS Hospitality, Pracxis Communications, and Bird Flight Services, offering a wide range of roles such as Backend Office Support Staff, Office Administration, Graphic Designer, Sales and Operations (Travel), Business Development Executive, Customer Service Agent (CSA), and Customer Service Host (CSH).
IGNOU’s On-Campus Placement Drive 2026
The eligibility criteria for IGNOU’s on-campus placement drive 2026 for the aviation and hospitality sector are as follows.
- Freshers and experienced candidates can apply.
- Strong communication skills
- Customer-focused attitude
- Willingness to work in airport operations
- Willingness to work in shift duty specially night shifts
For BDE roles, candidates from MBA marketing or IGNOU alumni can also apply. The role and responsibilities will include drawing sales strategies, conducting market research, closing deals, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and others.
