IIFT New Delhi organises felicitation ceremony 'MILAP', 40 rank holders awarded medals

IIFT Delhi's management development programme division hosted the annual felicitation ceremony. Rank holders from 28 training programs were felicitated.
NEW DELHI: The management development programme (MDP) division of Indian Institute of Fashion Technology (IIFT) Delhi organised an annual felicitation ceremony titled 'MILAP' on March 31, 2023. A total of 40 rank holders from 28 training programs of the financial year 2022-23 were awarded gold, silver and bronze medals.
Directorate general of resettlement, Major Sharad Kapur was present as the guest of honour in the programme. A statement from the institute said that MILAP was an academia industry connect cum felicitation ceremony, organised on IIFT Delhi premises.

As many as 80 stakeholders from organisations like ministry of petroleum and gas, ministry of defence, ministry of finance, Denmark embassy, ONGC, GAIL, BHEL, SAIL, HPCL and others attended the event.
In his welcome address, MDP head of IIFT Delhi Asheesh Pandey highlighted the accomplishments of the programme at the institute. Thereafter, Major Kapur took to stage to appreciate the value addition inculcated by IIFT in the armed forces veterans during their certificate programs.
Bharat Electronics limited executive director, Manoj Kumar delivered the keynote address and emphasised the significance of corporate training. He also said that enhancing the productivity and profitability of the companies is of paramount importance. At the end of the event, former dean of the institute, Vijya Katti bid the vote of thanks.
