IIHMR University Placement 2024: 75% students placed so far; highest salary at Rs 35.62 lakh

IIHMR University Placements 2024: In terms of sector-wise data, hospitals emerged as the highest recruiters, constituting 30%.
NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Health Management Research (IIHMR) University records best placement this year, securing a top package of 35.62 LPA, surpassing its previous high of 17.22 LPA in 2022. The ongoing placements at the institute have seen 75% of students placed in various roles across different organizations, both domestically and internationally, at competitive packages.
According to a joint study conducted by Pristyn Care and Indeed, job listings for healthcare professionals surged by 22.4% from January 2021 to January 2023, indicating an expanding demand for these professionals in India.
IIHMR University Placement 2024: Number of recruiters
The placement officials at IIHMR University have reported a significant increase in the total number of recruiters, now totalling over 60. Among these, notable names include HJ Hospital, IPE Global, Nuva Bupa Health Insurance Ltd., Tata AIG, Lupin, Deloitte, PWC, E&Y, Infosys, and Fortis Hospital, to name a few from a lengthy list.

Packages in the healthcare industry are witnessing a spike secondary to the global growing emphasis on bolstering healthcare infrastructure. In terms of sector-wise placement data, hospitals emerged as the highest recruiters, constituting 30% of placements. Following closely behind are consultancy, pharmaceutical, and health IT sectors, each comprising 15%, 12%, and 11% of placements, respectively.
IIHMR University highest salary packages
In the present year, there has been a significant surge of 220% in the number of students securing a package of 13 lakh and above. Additionally, there has been an 82% increase in the number of students securing a package of 10 lakhs plus compared to the previous year. Furthermore, there has been a commendable rise of 115% in the number of students securing packages of 8 LPA plus compared to 2021 to 2023.
