“Top rankers of JEE Mains can have 100% of their tuition fee waived off through IIIT-B’s Utkarsha Scholarships. To avail Utkarsha Scholarships, students should have an all India rank between 1-999 and the Scholarship will be given at most to 5 students,” IIIT Bangalore said in a statement.

Debabrata Das, director of IIIT Bangalore, said: “One unique advantage of joining IIITB's integrated programme is that students get both BTech and MTech in a combined duration of five years as opposed to spending four years to do BTech and another two years to do MTech separately. Students already weary of writing multiple rounds of JEE would be relieved that they do not have to write the GATE exam to get admission into a Masters programme later on either.”
