IIIT Delhi to hold 14th convocation on November 1; 780 students to receive degree

IIIT Delhi will present degrees and excellence awards to 780 graduates from undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes.
Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi) will host its 14th convocation ceremony on November 1 to mark the achievements of 780 graduating students from undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes.
The convocation will award degrees across multiple disciplines. BTech students will receive degrees across specialisations, including computer science and engineering, electronics and communications engineering, computer science and applied mathematics, computer science and design among others.

Postgraduate degrees in MTech will be awarded in computer science and engineering, electronics and communications engineering, and computational biology. Doctoral degrees (PhD) will be conferred in computational biology, computer science and engineering, human-centered design, mathematics, electronics and communications engineering, social sciences and humanities.
IIIT Delhi 14th Convocation: Excellence awards
In addition to distribution of degrees, the institute will also recognise academic and excellence through awards such as the chancellor's gold medal, institute silver medals, all-round performance medals, best BTP (Bachelor's Thesis Project) awards, the gold medal for excellence in MTech, thesis awards, and PhD dissertation awards.
The event will be attended by Lieutenant Governor of Delhi and Chancellor of IIIT-Delhi Vinai Kumar Saxena, director Ranjan Bose, chairperson of the Board of Governors Rajesh Srivastava, along with faculty members, staff, and families of the graduation students.
