IIM Ahmedabad 57th annual convocation today

IIM A: Falguni Nayar, founder and CEO of Nykaa, and an IIM Ahmedabad alumna will be the chief guest for the event.
NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad will conduct its 57th annual convocation event today, April 13, 2022, at the Louis Kahn Plaza, IIM Ahmedabad (Old Campus). The IIM Ahmedabad convocation event is scheduled to begin at 7:30 pm. Falguni Nayar, founder and CEO of Nykaa will be the chief guest for the event. She is also an alumna of IIM Ahmedabad.
"This year, our alumna and Founder & CEO of Nykaa, Ms Falguni Nayar will be gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest and delivering the Convocation Address. She will join Mr Kumar Mangalam Birla, Chairperson, Board of Governors and Professor Errol D’Souza, Director, IIMA on stage," said a statement from IIM Ahmedabad.

IIM Ahmedabad will begin conferring degrees of scholastic medals by the chief guest at 8 pm. This will be followed by a convocation address by the chief guest. The welcome address will be given by Kumar Mangalam Birla, chairperson of the board of governors at IIMA, and the concluding address by Errol D’Souza, director of IIMA. The national anthem will be played by the end of the event.
