IIM Ahmedabad, ENAC to launch new programme for aviation and aeronautics professionals

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA) and EcoleNationale de l'AviationCivile (ENAC) are offering Advanced Management Programme, a six-month programme for detailed learning in various principles, policies and practice required for professionals. The last date to apply is October 31, and the course will commence on November 10.
The eligibility criterion for the programme allows graduates and postgraduates with 50% or more marks and a minimum of five years of work experience in the sector. The France Advanced Management Programme is” a limited seat programme that offers global industry exposure and experience with technical and operational aspects of aviation and air transportation operations and management.”

The participants of the programme will learn airline and airport operations and management, sustainability, IT strategy and applications, among various other topics from distinguished IIMA faculty. Commenting on the programme, Debjit Roy, IIM Ahmedabad, says, “The Indian aviation and aeronautics sector is growing, and so is the need for experts with techno-managerial skill sets. We are pleased to offer this programme to those who can steer the sector towards a more disruptive future. While the sector’s future may present many challenges, participants will have the chance to envision and reinvent how the sector should operate in line with the government's objective of making India a worldwide aviation hub.”
The programme offers live interactive classes that can be accessed remotely for 6 month every Saturday. The participants also will have two in-campus modules and five-day campus experience at ENAC France. For further details, visit the IIMA website or email: inquiry-blp@iima.ac.in
