IIM Ahmedabad launches two-year online MBA for working professionals

IIM Ahmedabad: MBA admission will be determined through IAT test, valid CAT, GMAT, GRE score and interview. The programme starts on September 12.
NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad has launched an online MBA programme specifically for working professionals and entrepreneurs. The duration of this course is two years offered through in-person classes and live online classes. Students can apply for this course from the official website at iima.ac.in.
The application process for this Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme has already begun and the last date to apply is May 10, 2024. To be eligible for admission, applicants should have a minimum of three years of full-time work experience and a bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
The applicants who have a valid Common Admission Test (CAT), Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) score will have to pay an application fee of Rs 2,000. Applicants who wish to appear in the IIMA Admission Test (IAT) will have to pay Rs 3,000 as an application fee.
“The Online MBA programme launched by IIMA aims to strengthen the managerial skills of working professionals and entrepreneurs who strive to balance their careers and personal lives. The programme fully draws upon the multiple strengths of the Institute, renowned faculty, vast academic resources, and extensive network to provide participants with a transformative journey,” the IIM director said.

IIM Ahmedabad Online MBA programme: Eligibility criteria
Applicants can check the eligibility criteria of the IIM Ahmedabad Online MBA programme, given below.

Applicants should have a minimum of three years of full-time work experience after completion of graduation, as of June 30, 2024.

Applicant should have a minimum age of 24 years as of June 30, 2024. There is no upper age limit.

Holding at least a bachelor’s degree, CA CS, ICWA or equivalent in any discipline, with at least 50 per cent marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA, awarded by any of the recognized universities.

Applicant should have a valid CAT, GMAT, and GRE score taken within the last 5 years from March 01, 2024.
