IIM Ahmedabad Summer Placement: TCS top recruiter with 12 offers in 3rd cluster

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM Ahmedabad) conducted the third cluster of the summer placement process for the PGP class of 2023 on November 22. The entire IIM-A summer placement process was conducted online this year.
“Over 20 firms participated in cluster 3. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) was the top recruiter with 12 offers," IIM Ahmedabad said in an official statement.

The firms that participated in Cluster 1 comprised nine cohorts - Banking Financial Services and Insurance, Consumer Technology, Core Manufacturing and Infrastructure, Education Tech, Enterprise Tech, Financial Tech, IT Consulting and Analytics, Renewable Energy and Green Tech, and Social Enterprises and NGO.
InfoEdge, also participated in the IT Consulting and Analytics sector, and gave 5 offers.

The top recruiters in the Consumer Tech cohort comprised organisations like Electronic Arts, GamesCraft, OLX and Winzo.
While Microsoft was the biggest recruiter in the Enterprise Tech cohort with 7 offers, Enterprise Tech saw participation of companies like Adobe, Atlassian Corporation, Microsoft, Oracle and Sprinklr.

New recruiters this year included Electronic Arts, GamesCraft, Ikigai Labs, Intelligence Node, ISDM Social and Rocket Learning. Ola Electric, a new recruiter, participated in the Core Manufacturing and Infra sector and offered 5 positions.
IIM Ahmedabad conducted the summer placement for the first cluster and second cluster on November 16 and November 19 The Boston Consulting Group and Hindustan Lever were the top recruiters with 26 and 14 offers,respectively.

The firms that participated in Cluster 2 comprised seven cohorts – Advertising and Media, Consumer Electronics, Consumer Goods and durables, Consumer Services, Conglomerates, Retail B2B and B2C and Pharma–health care.
The firms that participated in Cluster 1 comprised five cohorts – investment banking & markets, management consulting, niche consulting, cards and financial advisory and private equity, venture capital & asset management.
