NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad summer internship recruitment 2024-25 for PGP programme is set to commence on November 12, 2024. The institute continues its cluster-cohort-based placement system, grouping companies offering similar profiles into cohorts and inviting them in clusters for recruitment. The IIM Ahmedabad summer placements 2024-25 will take place in 3 clusters.
As per IIM Ahmedabad, the summer internship placements will be conducted in a hybrid format, allowing companies the option to either visit the campus or conduct interviews online.
IIM Ahmedabad Summer Placement 2024-25: Schedule
As per IIM Ahmedabad summer internship recruitment 2024-25 schedule, cluster 1 will take place on November 12, cluster 2 on November 15, and cluster 3 on November 18. As per IIM Ahmedabad , the institute may follow a rolling process after cluster 3 if required. The IIM Ahmedabad summer internship recruitment process for the PGP-FABM programme will also follow the same schedule as PGP. If needed, the institute will implement a rolling process thereafter.
IIM Ahmedabad Summer Internship Recruitment 2024-25: Website for official reports
IIM Ahmedabad has announced that it will continue its communication strategy regarding placements through official press releases after each recruitment cluster. The press releases will be published on the IIMA website around 10:00 pm on the days for clusters 1 and 2, with the cluster 3 report. The IIM Ahmedabad summer placement cluster 3 report and the Consolidated report will be sent together afterwards.

As per the official press release, the IIM Ahmedabad summer internship recruitment 2024-25 reports will be accessible at iima.ac.in/academics/media-releases. The press release will include important details and the highlights from each cluster.
IIM Ahmedabad Summer Placements: Last year’s overview
During the Cluster 3 summer placements at IIM Ahmedabad , approximately 40 firms participated in the recruitment drive, with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) leading as the top recruiter by making 19 offers. Other notable companies included FinIQ and Tata Steel. The participating firms spanned 12 sectors, such as banking, financial services, consumer technology, core manufacturing, education technology, and artificial intelligence.
In the technology sector, prominent firms like Google, Atlassian Corporation, and Adobe participated, while the manufacturing and infrastructure cohort saw a fourfold increase in participating companies. New entrants in the drive included British Petroleum, Karkinos, and NPCI.
In cluster 2, the placement process featured 60 job roles, with Mahindra emerging as the leading recruiter, offering 11 positions, followed by the Adani Group. This cluster involved companies from seven sectors, including advertising, consumer electronics, and retail.
Cluster 1 focused on five sectors, with companies participating in investment banking, management consulting, and private equity. IIM Ahmedabad successfully concluded its summer internship process by placing all candidates across the three clusters.
