IIM Ahmedabad: Sunil Kant Munjal, chairman of Hero Enterprise, to speak on December 17

IIMA's Ashank Desai Centre for Leadership and Organisational Development will organise the lecture at Ahmedabad Management Association.
NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad will host Sunil Kant Munjal, chairman of Hero Enterprise on December 17, for its lecture series on leadership. The series is organised by IIMA’s Ashank Desai Centre for Leadership and Organisational Development at the Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA). Munjal will speak on "Impact Leadership: An India Story".

“The lecture series is a marquee initiative by ADCLOD to bring together ideas, opinions, and insights from visionary business leaders on critical issues related to leadership and organisational development and initiate deliberations on future developments”, read the press release.
IIMA leadership lecture series began in 2021. Until now, ADCLOD has hosted TV Rao, professor and chairman of TVRLS and Prithviraj Chattopadhyay, a professor from the University of Auckland.
“Leaders are visionaries. They bring the change that will impact industry and community, at large. Hence, they ought to evolve and adapt, learn to empathise and be more people-oriented and business-oriented,” said Errol D’Souza, professor and director of IIMA.

“The IIM Ahmedabad leadership lecture series will provide the opportunity to learn from the experiences of practising leaders as well as scholars. More interactions will be conducted so that such individuals may share their knowledge and experiences with students, faculty, and professionals,” said Vishal Gupta, chairperson of IIMA ADCLOD.
Senior journalist Siddharth Zarabi, managing editor of Business Today TV will interact with Munjal and D’Souza. Munjal will share the story of the Hero Group. Sunil might also spill some information on his latest book ‘The Making of a Hero’, which elaborates on the founding and growth of the Hero Group.
