IIM Amritsar, Chitkara University launch residential certification programme

NEW DELHI: Chitkara University has signed an agreement with the Indian Institutes of Management (IIM Amritsar) to introduce an exclusive residential certification programme. The programme has been tailored for Chitkara University students hailing from family business backgrounds. The curriculum has been designed to empower students with an understanding of various management disciplines and nurture their leadership potential.
The agreement signing ceremony was attended by IIM Amritsar director Nagarajan Ramamoorthy and Chitkara Business School pro vice-chancellor Sandhir Sharma. This partnership between Chitkara University and IIM Amritsar highlights the shared commitment towards academic excellence and student development. “Through this collaborative effort, Chitkara Business School reaffirms its dedication to providing unparalleled educational opportunities, ensuring that students receive the highest quality of training and mentorship,” it added.
The university in a press circular said the residential certification programme is crafted to equip students with the skills, knowledge, and acumen necessary to navigate the complexities of the business world and emerge as effective leaders in their respective fields.

The event was also attended Amandeep Singh, dean of marketing at Chitkara Business School, Gurbir Singh, chairperson of executive education at IIM Amritsar, and Mahima Gupta, dean of ccademics at IIM Amritsar.
