IIM Bangalore to begin golden jubilee foundation week celebrations from October 26
President Droupadi Murmu will inaugurate the celebration and digitally flag off a 50-hour relay walkathon on the campus.

NEW DELHI : The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore will be hosting a series of events from October 26 to October 29 to mark its golden jubilee foundation week. President Droupadi Murmu will inaugurate the 4-day celebration on October 26, 2023.
During the event, President Murmu will release a book and film on IIM Bangalore campus and the institute will organise cultural programmes, quizzes, awards, and more.
On day 1, the president will release the book titled ‘The Making of a Campus: IIM Bangalore’ and digitally flag off ‘Swarna Twaran’, the 50-hour Golden Jubilee relay walkathon on campus by students, faculty, staff and alumni of the institute.

The events on day 2 include the presentation of Young Achievement Awards and Staff Recreation Club (SRC) Awards by the director; felicitation of former employees; cultural programme; Business Quiz Finale for alumni and students; and Alumni Shark Tank Finale for alumni and students.
Alumni Leadership Conclave on corporate excellence, presentation of Alumni Service Awards, and foundation day lecture on, ‘Reimagining Capitalism in a World on Fire’ by American economist professor Rebecca Henderson of the Harvard Business School will be held on the third day. Moreover, the institute will organise music and dance performances for public.
On the fourth day, Alumni Life Fest, Alumni Stand-up Comedy and alumni interaction with the IIMB Director will be held in the morning while an orchestra and a Hindi play will be performed in the evening.
