QS Rankings 2025: IIM Kozhikode, IMT Ghaziabad, and Somaiya Vidyavihar University have made fresh entries in this year’s rankings.

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore has retained its position as the top B-school in India for MBA in the QS Global MBA and Business Master’s Rankings 2025. However, the institute lost a position in the top 50. Three Indian institutes including IIM Kozhikode, Institute of Management Technology (IMT) Ghaziabad, and Somaiya Vidyavihar University have made their debut in this year’s rankings.
14 Indian full-time MBA programmes have been ranked in the QS rankings 2025. While IIM Kozhikode secured a position in the 151-200 band, IMT Ghaziabad and Somaiya Vidyavihar University feature in the 251+ band.

Additionally, three Indian MBA programmes offered by IIMB, IIMC, and IIMA rank among the world's top 50 for the employability indicator, with a fourth programme from the Indian School of Business (ISB) securing a spot in the top 100.
IIM Ahmedabad's full-time MBA programme also leads nationally in the entrepreneurship and alumni impact category, with two other Indian programmes (IIMB and ISB) also ranking among the global top 100 in this indicator.
Further, IIM Bangalore’ full-time MBA programme is best in India for the thought leadership of its faculty, with other three programmes appearing among the world’s top 100.
