IIM Bangalore students to host Annual Business Conclave

NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB)’ students of postgraduate programme in management will host the 21st edition of a business confluence, Vista on August 7 and 8. The conclave will feature multiple events including master toolkit workshops, competitions, and speaker sessions.

“As 2021 marks the beginning of a new decade, Vista’s theme ‘Together Towards Tomorrow’ aims to tackle unprecedented challenges and explore the plethora of opportunities that lie ahead,” a statement from IIM Bangalore said.

While the conclave will include several industry leaders as speakers such as chairman and CEO of Bank of America Brian Moynihan, ISRO chairman K Sivan, Union Minister Smriti Irani, Arvind Subramanian, director of the ‘Baahubali’ series S S Rajamouli and others, the event will have a tinge of entertainment by stand-up comedian Abhishek Upmanyu who will headline Pronite.

IIM Bangalore: Events

The event will feature several flagship competitions such as numero uno, trojan horse, opathlon, markguru, conloquium, and data and beyond, which will offer opportunities to solve business problems across strategy, operations, marketing, investment, and analytics.

There will be a Young Leaders’ Summit which is a week-long conclave bringing together corporate leaders and Gen-Z.

Vista gives the participants a chance to don the hat of a CXO in its business simulation event, the IIM Bangalore statement said.

“This year Vista is hosting workshops for participants to upskill themselves under the apprenticeships of leaders at Facebook, Microsoft, PwC, Adobe, GSK, Nestlé, IIFL and more. Its ‘Master Toolkit Workshop Series’ bundles domain-specific workshops across Consulting, Marketing, Finance, and Product Management,” the statement further added.
