Download EbookNEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta) will be conducting the Common Admission Test (CAT 2024) on Sunday, November 24, for admission into postgraduate management programmes (PGP) in IIMs and other participating MBA colleges. A total of 3.29 lakh candidates will be taking the CAT exam 2024 in 170 exam cities.

The CAT admit card 2024 has to be carried to the exam centre to be allowed entry. The institute issued the IIM CAT admit card 2024 through the official website, iimcat.ac.in.
CAT exam 2024 will be held for a duration of 120 minutes. The CAT question paper will have three sections - verbal ability and reading comprehension (VARC); data interpretation and logical reasoning (DILR); quantitative ability. Candidates will be given 40 minutes to attempt each section. They will not be allowed to switch between sections without completing the section.

IIMs have taken additional measures for the security of the examination, including employing mobile jammers in select locations. CAT 2024 will be conducted on November 24 in three sessions.
CAT slot 1 timing - 8:30 am to 10:30 am (Morning session)
CAT slot 2 timing - 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm (Afternoon session)
CAT slot 3 timing - 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm (Evening session)

Here’s some important instructions regarding CAT hall ticket 2024.
- Candidates are required to download the CAT admit card 2024 through the official website, iimcat.ac.in.
- CAT hall tickets will not be sent through post.
- Candidates will have to take printout of all pages of the CAT admit card and attest a photograph; same as the one uploaded on the application form.
- It is mandatory to carry the CAT admit card and a valid photo ID card to the exam centre to be allowed entry.
