IIM Jammu to organise three-day orientation programme for IPM students tomorrow

NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu will organise a three-day orientation programme for students of its integrated programme in management (IPM).
Chairman of the board of directors of IIM Jammu Milind Kamble will deliver the inaugural presidential address while BS Sahay, director of the IIM Jammu will give the welcome address.

The orientation programme will also be featuring a session on academics at IIM Jammu by Jabir Ali, dean academics, IIM Jammu. Various interactive and other sessions will also be conducted by the faculty and officers of IIM Jammu.
Several personalities and speakers and from corporate sector such as Ajit Yohannan, marketing manager India, Opentext; Warner Jude Gonsalvez, talent acquisition director India, RSM US; Kavita Rana, head of human resource, Agilus Diagnostics; Bipul Chandra, managing director, Ducati; Neha Gupta, director, Deloitte; and Devarshy R Ganguly, head of marketing, Magic Bricks will attend the orientation programme. The orientation programme will also feature inbound and outbound activities for students facilitated by faculty members of IIM Jammu, along with cultural programme by Malhar Committee, IIM Jammu.
Academic session 2023-24 of IIM Jammu started last month with a ‘havan ceremony’. A five-day orientation programme from July 24 to July 31, 2023 was organised for the fourth batch of PhD (2023-26); the eighth batch of MBA (2023-25); the third batch of EMBA (2023-25); and the second batch of MBA (HA and HM) (2023-25) at its permanent campus in Jagti, Jammu.
