IIM Kashipur calls for applications for MBA in Analytics; apply by March 7

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kashipur is now accepting applications for its Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme in data and analytics for the 2024-26 batch. Candidates with valid Common Admission Test (CAT) 2023 or Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) scores can also apply.

Candidates who want to apply for this programme MBA programme can fill out the application form by March 7 through the official website of IIM Kashipur at iimkashipur.ac.in. This 24-month programme at IIM Kashipur provides a mix of managerial principles and advanced analytics subjects, enabling participants to specialize in various domains and acquire practical experience.

The programme also offers scholarships covering the full year's tuition fees to 10% of students in both the first and second years, on a need-based, merit-based and need-cum-merit basis, the institute said.

According to the official press release, the total seat intake for this MBA programme is 160. The programme has a gender diversity of 69% women and 31% men. Among the students, 24% are freshers, and 76% are experienced professionals. In terms of academic backgrounds, 55% are from engineering and technology, 21% from commerce and management, and 24% from arts and science backgrounds.

IIM Kashipur Admission: Eligibility criteria

To be eligible for this MBA programme, candidates should have a bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum score of 50% or equivalent cumulative grade point average (CGPA). Candidates from the non-creamy layer - other backward class (NC-OBC), economically weaker section (EWS) should have scored at least 47% in their bachelor's degree. Scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), differently abled person (DAP) are required to have a 45% mark or equivalent CGPA.

Along with this, candidates should also have a valid CAT 2023 score or GMAT score, taken no earlier than May 1, 2022.

As per the institute, the highest package received by MBA analytics students at Kashipur was 37 lakh per annum, while the average package for students remained at 18.2 lakh per annum.
