IIM Kozhikode launches 2-year EPGP programme for working professionals; admissions via EMAT 2026

The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM Kozhikode) has launched an Executive Post Graduate Programme (EPGP) for working professionals. Interested candidates can apply for the two-year EPGP course through the official website at iimk.ac.in by August 17. CAT Application Form 2026 LIVE.

According to the eligibility criteria, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in any discipline with a minimum 50% aggregate mark or equivalent CGPA.

“In case of an absence of a duly recognized bachelor's degree, a candidate with a minimum aggregate percentage of 50 in CA/ICWA/CS can apply for the programme,” as per the IIM Kozhikode's official website.

Executive Postgraduate Programme 2026: Eligibility, curriculum

Notably, those holding a degree from a foreign university must have to produce the equivalency certificate from any government of India approved assessment agency, or an Indian university approved by the UGC along with the proof of aggregate percentage of marks obtained in the programme completed.

The working professionals must have three full years of managerial, entrepreneurial, or professional experience after successful completion of graduation as on the date of closure of application window in each phase, the management institute said.

The management programme’s curriculum consists of core and elective courses, in-campus modules and international immersion.

Candidates will provide participants with skills to effectively lead their organisation to the next level in the knowledge economy through an innovative curriculum, according to the brochure.

The programme is divided into two years with a compulsory core curriculum in the first year and four compulsory courses and elective courses in the second year, with an optional International Immersion Component.

IIM Kozhikode's EMAT 2026 exam, interview dates

IIM Kozhikode will admit candidates for the EPGP programme through Executive Management Aptitude Test (EMAT) 2026.

The institute will conduct the EMAT 2026 on September 6 and 10, while the interview for the shortlisted candidates will be held on September 12,19 and 20.

“The curriculum of the first year is designed to provide the participants with a thorough grounding in the prerequisite courses and the functional areas of Management. The first-year courses in the core curriculum are common to all the participants, and, considering the level of rigour with which it is taught, will enable the participants to further their career into any stream of Management,” the management institute said.

The three mandatory in-campus modules of six days each include live interactive learning (IL) sessions, four quarters covering 38 credits, three quarters with elective courses in the second year offered through real-time elective bidding process.

The optional international immersion for one week at a Premium University abroad.
