IIM Raipur launches certificate programme in entrepreneurship starting November 6

IIM Raipur: Students can apply for the programme before the last date, October 15. The programme will continue for three months.
NEW DELHI : The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur, launched its certificate programme in entrepreneurship, specially crafted for aspiring entrepreneurs starting on November 6. Interested students can apply for the certificate programme before the deadline, 15 October. The programme is designed for aspiring entrepreneurs by providing them with the skills and knowledge required for a successful business venture, the IIM Raipur statement said.
Graduates from any discipline with a minimum age of 21 years can apply for the programme on IIM Raipur’s portal at cpe.iimraipur.edu.in. It is a three-month, non-residential course designed to empower Raipur residents and foster entrepreneurship within the local community. The programme aims to cultivate a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem that contributes to the region’s economic growth, the IIM Raipur statement added.
After the completion of the programme, students will gain a practical understanding of essential business disciplines and hands-on knowledge of legal, regulatory, and compliance standards.
The program will also include sessions on presentation skills, design thinking, and training techniques, among others. Through all these practical exercises and real-world case studies, students will understand more about business principles.
“Students will experience a stress- free learning environment with minimal theoretical content. Students will also have opportunities to interact with like-minded individuals and build a network of fellow entrepreneurs and mentors who will provide valuable insights and inspiration.”
The sessions will be held in a blend of English and Hindi. Students will have access to field trips, interactive demonstrations, and visual presentations which will further enhance their learning experience, the IIM Raipur note adds.
Ram Kumar Kakani the director of IIM Raipur invited students to upskill themselves with this programme and said: “Inviting budding entrepreneurs to upskill themselves with this program, Ram Kumar Kakani, Director, IIM Raipur shared, “We believe entrepreneurs are the propellers of India’s economic growth. With an aim to enrich Raipur’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, our expertise has meticulously designed this curriculum to meet the requirements of our local community. We are confident that this initiative will bridge the gap between start-up ecosystems and the delivery of skills required for their success. IIM Raipur will offer required mentorship and networking opportunities to entrepreneurs, ensuring their long-term success.”
