IIMC Admissions 2024: Application deadline for MA programmes extended till June 15
IIMC Delhi: Candidates can apply for MA programmes in media business studies and strategic communication at iimc.admissions.nic.in.

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), New Delhi, has extended the application deadline for its Master of Arts (MA) programmes until June 15, 2024. This extension offers candidates additional time to apply for the MA in Media Business Studies (MBS) and MA in Strategic Communication programmes.
Interested candidates can find the detailed information about the MA programmes, eligibility criteria, and the application process on the IIMC website. Those who appeared in the Common University Entrance Test-Postgraduate (CUET-PG) exam in mass communication and journalism and hold a bachelor's degree with at least 55 percent marks are eligible for IIMC's MA programme. Candidates in their final year or semester of the bachelor's programme can also apply.
This extension from IIMC provides aspiring candidates with an opportunity to pursue advanced studies in media business and strategic communication. Aspiring individuals are encouraged to utilise this extended window to submit their applications and secure a spot in these MA programmes, as stated by IIMC.
"Candidates are advised to read the IIMC Prospectus (Prospectus 2024_25_final.pdf (iimc.gov.in) applying. Detailed syllabus of both the programmes is also available on the IIMC website (www.iimc.gov.in)," stated Rakesh Kumar Goswami, admissions incharge at IIMC.
The two masters programmes aim to meet the demand for skilled professionals in the media industry. The former focuses on producing managers adept at navigating the evolving media landscape, while the latter prepares professionals to manage communications strategically, as per IIMC management.
