NEW DELHI, APRIL 9: The final result for the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yozna (KVPY) exam has been declared on April 9, 2018. A provisional merit list has been released by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore for candidates of streams SA, SX and SB, who appeared for the interview round. As per the exam conducting body, the merit list is based on the total marks obtained by candidates in both the aptitude test and interview. The final marks for all candidates who appeared for aptitude and interview test will be available in the last week of April. Students can access the same by logging in through their application number and date of birth.

The merit list for the exam has been released separately for General, SC/ST and PWD students. It includes the rank, roll number, application number and name of the candidate in each category. It also includes the cut off marks for the exam under all the streams.

The cut off percentage for General students in streams SA, SX and SB are 54%, 52% and 49% respectively. That for SC/ST students it is 40% for SA and SX streams and 35% for SB stream.

In case of SA students, the scholarship will be available from August 1, 2019. However, for SX and SB students the scholarship will be applicable from August 1, 2018.
