NEW DELHI: Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) will announce the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT 2024) counselling round 1 seat allotment results today at 8 pm. Candidates who qualified in IISER IAT exam and registered to participate in the counselling will be able to check the admission status from the official website, iiseradmission.in.
Through the counselling process, admission into 5-year BS-MS dual degree and 4-year BS degree programmes 2024 will be offered by IISER campuses at Berhampur, Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram, and Tirupati.
Admission to IISERs will only be based on the score obtained by the candidates in IAT-2024, which was held on June 9. At the time of filling up the online application for counselling, a candidate was shown 9 programmes across 7 IISERs. Based on the list, they are required to submit their choices in the order of preference.
IISER admission offers to any candidate will be given on the basis of seat availability at each IISER in the current allocation round, IAT rank obtained by the candidate, IISER preferences given by the candidate, and the category to which the candidate belongs.
The IISER IAT score 2024 is also used for admission into the Bachelor of Science (Research) programme of Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore and BS-Medical Sciences and Engineering of Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT-M).
Candidates who wish to withdraw their admission should avail the facility to exit by July 25 and latest by August 30 by 4 pm. The IISER IAT second counselling seat allotment results will be declared on July 30.
