This initiative will focus on training over 1 lakh STEAM students nationwide. STEAM Yatra is truly one-of-its-kind, the 'Tour of India' includes two teams of CCL and ScooNews travelling to various cities and provide one-day workshops with students and teachers. The curriculum curated by CCL for STEAM Yatra includes material for students from classes 6 to 12. The institute aims to reach 150-20 schools in the next one year.
STEAM Yatra is to provide hands-on experience for students and teachers that will help in application of learning topics to the real world. The key aim of the workshop is to make young minds understand basic conceptual understanding, build a strong foundation and increase critical thinking of science, technology, engineering, arts and math. The initiative is '"designed to nurture children’s inner creative thinking and to help them explore, innovate, and take risks."

CCL-IIT Gandhinagar, Manish Jain said, “We really believe that the most important need of the hour is to make education engaging and inspiring and in that regard one of the best tools are Toys and Games which helps in integrating STEM and ART. We are very excited to travel across the country to spread the message and Bring Back the Gleam in the Eyes of our children.”
The Center for Creative Learning at IITGN was established in April 2017. "The idea was, and remains, to immerse oneself in a subject in order to learn it, to do rather than read. We need to make our classes engaging, provide experiential learning, foster creativity and innovation with sole focus on concepts. " says the IITGN official website.
