IIT Gandhinagar to host annual cultural fest ‘Blithchron’ in hybrid mode

IIT Gandhinagar Blithchron’22 will be held in hybrid mode, with the online even taking place on March 19, and the on-campus event on March 20.
NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN) is set to host Blithchron, the student-run annual cultural festival of the IITGN in hybrid mode. The IIT Gandhinagar Blithchron’22 will be held in hybrid mode, with the online even taking place on March 19, and the on-campus event on March 20.
According to a statement from IIT Gandhinagar, students across India are invited to participate in the IIT Gandhinagar Blithchron’22 fest, to visit the IITGN campus and to stay there for a couple of days. More than 1500 individuals have registered to participate in the IITGN Blithchron’22 from various IITs, NITs, and other educational institutions across the country.

Blithchron’22 fest at IIT Gandhinagar will include online and offline events such as EDM-remix making competition, video game tournament (Valorant, BGMI), Nukkad Natak competition, quiz competition, among others. Other competitions such as dance, poetry, singing, photography etc. are also part of the IITGN Blithchron fest.

The event is planned to conclude with EDM and DJ night by Vice and Virtue and the main act by the DJ and producer TEJAS. This programme is open for all. “Numerous students from the Gandhinagar/Ahmedabad area plan to be a part of this event to fill the void in the college life that the Covid pandemic had created,” said the statement.
