IIT JAM 2025 registration last date extended till October 18; participating institutes
Candidates can fill JAM 2025 application form on jam2025.iitd.ac.in. Exam will be held on February 2 for admission to postgraduate programmes.

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has extended the last date for the Joint Admission Test (JAM) 2025 registration till October 18. Candidates who have not applied yet can fill the IIT JAM application form 2025 through the official website, jam2025.iitd.ac.in.

As per the eligibility criteria, candidates who have completed an undergraduate degree or are currently studying in the final year of undergraduate programmes can apply for the PG entrance exam. There is no age limit to apply for the exam and foreign nationals having Indian degrees can also apply.
For a single test paper, applicants belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST,) and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories and female candidates will have to pay Rs 900 as the application fee. All other students will be required to submit Rs 1,800.
JAM 2025 will be conducted on February 2, 2025 for admission to postgraduate programmes in the IITs. The exam will be held as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) for seven test papers including Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Economics (EN), Geology (GG), Mathematics (MA), Mathematical Statistics (MS, and Physics (PH). The test will be administered in two shifts – forenoon session will be held from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and the afternoon session from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

JAM scores will be used for admission to 3,000 seats in 89 PG programmes offered at 22 IITs for the academic session 2025-26. The institutes which will admit students through JAM 2025 are as follows:
