IIT Jodhpur launches 4-year BS in Management and Technology, JEE not required

Admissions are underway for the new programme, with classes scheduled to begin in August 2026.
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jodhpur has launched a four-year Bachelor of Science (BS) in Management and Technology. The newly launched interdisciplinary undergraduate programme aims to prepare students for careers in an artificial intelligence (AI)-driven economy.
The programme offers a flexible, multi-exit structure and grants IIT Jodhpur alumni status upon successful completion. Graduates can pursue roles such as business analyst, data analyst, product manager, operations manager, strategy consultant, marketing strategist, and management consultant.
Candidates who have passed class 12 or an equivalent examination with at least 60% aggregate marks (50% for reserved categories) in any stream can apply. Students awaiting their class 12 results are also eligible. No JEE score is required for admission to the programme. The classes will begin in August 2026.
IIT Jodhpur programme features
The IIT Jodhpur BS in Management and Technology curriculum is aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and follows a four-year, eight-semester structure comprising 141 credits. The programme covers emerging areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, fintech, cloud computing, and digital marketing.
Students will learn through recorded lectures, live interactive classes, and weekend doubt-clearing sessions. The programme also offers a flexible, multi-exit structure allowing learners to earn recognised qualifications at different stages of the programme.
In addition, students can opt for campus immersion opportunities to experience IIT Jodhpur's academic environment.

Admission process
- Complete the online application by filling out the application form and uploading the required documents
- Pay Rs 999 fee to register for the admission process
- Appear for the qualifier test conducted by IIT Jodhpur
- Participate in the counselling process, if shortlisted
- Receive the provisional admission offer upon selection
- Pay the first-year programme fee within 10 days to confirm admission
Candidates from Science, Commerce, Arts, or any other stream can apply through the official admission portal within the prescribed timeline.
