IIT Kanpur offers eMasters degree in sustainable construction practices and project management

IIT Kanpur has invited applications for the programme till May 12, 2023. Registrations for the programme are underway at emasters.iitk.ac.in.
NEW DELHI : The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur is offering an eMasters degree programme sustainable construction practices and project management, a statement from the institute said. The registrations for the programme are open till May 12, 2023, while the course will be brought into force from July 2023 onwards. Those desirous of applying for the programme will have to log on to emasters.iitk.ac.in.
As per the institute's statements, the programme is comprehensive in nature and will help the professionals in gaining the expertise to build and manage sustainable construction projects.
The eMasters programme can be completed by the students between the time frame of 1 to 3 years and no GATE scores would be required for the selection of the students. The learning format of the course involves access of the students to the placement cell, incubation cell and alumni network, which will lead to advancement in career and a networking experience.

The participants will also get to visit the IIT Kanpur campus to interact with their peers and faculty members.
Further in the statements, the institute said that it would help professionals prepare for their career in the construction industry as project managers, construction managers and sustainability consultants. The learners, through the programme, will gain insights into green building materials, energy-efficient design, renewable energy systems and project planning.
