IIT Kanpur Udghosh Fight: Students from two colleges can be seen hitting each other with chairs in the purported video which is circulating on social media.

NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur’s intercollegiate sports festival turns into a wrestling match after two competing allegedly involved in a fierce fight. In a viral video circulating on the social media, Kabaddi participants can be seen thrashing each other with chairs.
Netaji Subhash University of Technology (NSUT) New Delhi and YMCA Faridabad started fighting over the points in the middle of the Kabaddi match held on Sunday afternoon. Soon the argument turned into ugly and massive fight, the Dainik Bhaskar reported.
Students can be seen beating each other with chairs mercilessly in the purported video. Audience, including female students, who were present at the auditorium can be seen running away from the venue. There are no official comments on the incident yet and the authenticity of the video could not be immediately ascertained.

IIT Kanpur organised the 19th edition of inter college sport festival ‘Udghosh’ from October 6 to 8. More than 2,500 students from over 450 colleges across the country participated in 75 events. As per the initial official statement, Kabbadi player Rahul Chaudhari was to participate in the event on the last day of the sports event, October 8.
