NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (Madras) has invited applications for its two-year executive MBA programme for working professionals offered by the department of management studies, IITM. Interested candidates can apply for the programme at the website - doms.iitm.ac.in/emba.

The last date for applying to the executive MBA programme is October 19. The eligibility criteria is 60% and above in bachelor degree in any discipline and a minimum of three years of work experience after graduation.

IIT Madras shared the news on social media and said: “iitmadras calls for applications for Executive MBA Degree Programme from domsiitmadras, designed specifically for working professionals. It is a 2-year programme with a rigorous yet practice-oriented curriculum. Last date to apply - Oct 19, 2021 To apply https://bit.ly/3nPV6Z6.”

Executive MBA programme structure

  • Functional Foundation - 10 core course
  • Integrated perspective - 4 core and 2 electives
  • Global leadership - 2 core and 8 electives

The executive MBA programme is taught through alternate weekend classes to help work-life balance by experienced mentors from Wipro, Infosys, IMB, Cognizant etc.

While the selection process will begin November 2021, the online classes for the selected candidates will start in January.

Recently, IIT Madras inaugurated a new Subramonian Shankar block in the Computer Science Department on September 16 with the help of distinguished alumnus Shankar.

“The construction of this expansion was made possible due to the generous funding support to the tune of US dollars 1.51 million by IIT Madras Distinguished Alumnus Subramonian Shankar (BTech, 1971 Batch), Founder and President, AmZetta Technologies,” a statement from IIT Madras said.
