IIT Patna, Australia’s Lincoln University join hands to launch UG, PG courses;enhance global academic exposure

The Indian Institute of Technology Patna (IIT Patna) has partnered with Lincoln University, Australia to enhance global academic cooperations and research. The collaboration will strengthen mutual academic interest, international exposure, and impactful research outcomes.

The collaboration between IIT Patna and Lincoln University will pave the way for joint research initiatives, faculty and student exchange programmes, collaborative academic partnerships for Undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses, including other engagements, according to an official statement.

TN Singh, director at IIT Patna, stated that the collaboration would create new opportunities for academic excellence, global exposure, and impactful research outcomes for the IIT Patna students and the faculty members of both institutions.

Singh signed the agreement with Lincoln University, Australia during an event, which saw participation from various members, including AK Thakur, dean (administration)-cum- registrar; Neeraj Rajhans; NK Tomar, associate dean (resource); Anup Kumar Keshri, associate dean (R&D); AK Verma, head of the department of civil and environmental engineering; Subrata Hait, associate dean (PG); Sushant Kumar, associate dean (UG); Dinesh Kumar Kotnees, associate dean (FA); Vijay Kumar, deputy registrar (academics); Rakesh Kumar, assistant registrar (R&D and resource).

In February this year, IIT Kharagpur also partnered with Russian Mining University to promote student and scholar exchange programmes, faculty exchange for joint scientific research, and the development of joint academic programmes for students as well as working professionals.
