IIT Patna Placements 2022: Highest domestic package at Rs 82.05 lakh; 22 international offers in phase 1
In phase 1, IIT Patna witnessed a 44% increase in PPOs and 281 offers. 20 offers are above Rs 50 lakh pay package. Top recruiters were Google, Adobe, Amazon etc.

NEW DELHI : 22 students of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Patna have received international offers in the phase 1 of the placement season 2023. While the highest domestic package this year is Rs 82.05 lakh received by 7 students, the average package has reached at Rs 29.30 lakh. IIT Patna students have got a total of 281 offers so far. The phase 2 placement session will start from the second week of January 2023.
The pre-placement offers (PPOs) witnessed an increase of 44 percent as compared to previous year. IIT Patna students received 72 PPOs this year while the number was 50 last year. In the first phase, students have received 20 offers above Rs 50 lakh pay package and 50 offers above Rs 40 lakh pay package.

So far, a total of 95 companies belonging to software and IT, finance and banking, analytics and consulting, core engineering, e-commerce, automobile, infrastructure, manufacturing and health care have recruited students for various profiles. The key recruiters came from core engineering, IT or software, finance, and consulting industries.
Some of the top companies which participated in the placement drive this year include Google, Atlassian, DE Shaw, Adobe, Arista Network, Sprinklr, Texas Instrument, Amazon, Oracle, Rakuten Mobile, Intuit etc. Besides, more than 20 new companies have participated in the campus recruitment for the first time such as Denso Corporation, Edfora, 26 Miles Capital, Titan-DirectI, Javis.ai, WDC, EXL Service, C-Dot etc.

The job profiles offered range from software engineer, hardware engineer, application engineer, product engineer, quant analyst, data scientist, digital consultant, manager, infrastructure analyst, machine learning engineer, digital engineer, decision analyst, consulting, management trainee, GET (Graduate Engineer Trainee), PGET, product manager etc.
IIT Patna's Director Professor T N Singh said, "The strong academic curriculum of the institute and the in-depth technical skills coupled with the leadership qualities of the students are the reasons for this stupendous success.”
