INAE Young Engineer Awards: Last date to apply is April 15; awardees to become INAE Young Associates
NEW DELHI: The Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE) has invited applications for the Young Engineer Award 2022 from engineers for recognizing their contributions to any branch of engineering. The deadline for the receipt of nominations is April 15, 2020.
The INAE Young Engineer Award 2022 winners will receive a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh and a citation. Those who receive the awards will become INAE Young Associates till they are 45 years old.

INAE Young Engineer Award 2022: Eligibility criteria
The eligibility criteria to apply for INAE Young Engineer Award 2022 is given below:

Nominees should be Indian citizens

Nominees should be less than 35 years old

Nominees should possess the first tertiary degree in engineering or technology as of January 1, 2022
However, female nominees can get an age relaxation of five years for the award. According to INAE official website, a nomination’s validity will last for only one year.

A candidate can be nominated up to three times if she is not more than 35 years old. In order to be considered for the INAE Young Engineer Award 2022, "evidence of excellence in engineering research, product-process, design, technology development and transfer specific contribution submitted for consideration of the award should have been carried out in India.”
INAE Young Engineer Award nominations are invited from young engineers working in academia, research and development laboratories and industry.

The nominations for the INAE Young Engineer Award has to be sent on an A-4 size paper in the prescribed format available on the INAE website at www.inae.in. Candidates can also fill out the form, scan it into a soft copy and send it by email to inaehq@inae.in .
