Indian Navy Agniveer registration begins for SSR, MR posts; apply by May 27

Indian Navy Agniveer Recruitment 2024: Candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 550, through the official website at agniveernavy.cdac.in.
NEW DELHI: The Indian Navy has begun the registration process for Agniveer SSR, MR posts. Eligible unmarried male and female candidates can fill out the Indian Navy Agniveer application form through the official website, joinindiannavy.gov.in. The last date to fill out the application form is May 27.
As per the official website, candidates will have a three-day window following the closure of the application period to make corrections to any details submitted during the application process. Candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 550 to register for the Indian Navy Agniveer 2024.
Eligibility criteria
Candidates can check the eligibility criteria for Indian Navy Agniveer 2024 before applying for it.
Age limit: Candidates must have been born between November 1, 2003, and April 30, 2007, inclusive of both dates.
Education qualification:

To be eligible for the MR post, candidates should have passed Class 10 with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from boards of school education, while for the SSR post, candidates should have passed Class 12 with mathematics and physics with a minimum of 50% in aggregate. Or

Candidates should have completed a three-year diploma course in engineering (mechanical, electrical, automobiles, computer science, instrumentation technology, information technology from a central, state, or union territory (UT) recognised polytechnic institute with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Or

Candidates should have passed a two-year vocational course with a non-vocational subject such as physics and mathematics from education boards recognised by central, state, and UT with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

Indian Navy Agniveer: Selection process
The selection process for the Agniveer MR, SSR posts will have two stages: stage 1 - shortlisting through the Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET), and stage 2 - Physical Fitness Test (PFT), written examination, and recruitment medical examination.
The exam will comprise 100 questions, with each carrying one mark. It will be divided into four sections encompassing English, science, mathematics, and general awareness subjects. The duration of the exam will be one hour.
