Inspire SHE 2023 registration ends today at online-inspire.gov.in; eligibility, documents required

A total of 12,000 scholarships will be awarded to meritorious students under the Inspire Scholarship for Higher Education (SHE) 2023.
NEW DELHI: Department of Science and Technology (DST) will close the registration window for Inspire Scholarship for Higher Education (SHE) 2023 today. Candidates can register for the Inspire SHE 2023 on the official website, online-inspire.gov.in.
Candidates applying for the scholarship should be in the age group 17 to 22 years. Selected students will get a monthly scholarship of Rs 5,000 per month and mentorship grant of 20,000 per annum.
As per the notification, 12,000 scholarships will be awarded every year to meritorious students under the scheme. The Inspire SHE 2023 aims at encouraging meritorious students for pursuing a career in basic and natural sciences.
Documents required
- Passport size photograph
- Class 10 mark sheet
- Class 12 mark sheet
- Category certificate, if applicable
- Certificate specifying rank in national level competitive entrance exam
- Certificate specifying award in JBNSTS or NTSE or international olympic medallists
- Endorsement form signed by head of institution
- Eligibility note or advisory note (not mandatory)
- Any other documents
Inspire Scholarship 2023: Eligibility criteria
- Top 1% students in Class 12 from any state or central school board can apply for Inspire Scholarship 2023.
- Students who have secured JEE or NEET rank within 10,000 ranks can also apply for the Inspire SHE 2023.
- Students who meet any of the mentioned qualifying requirements and are pursuing a BSc, BS, or International MSc/MS in fundamental and natural science are eligible for the Inspire scholarship programme 2023.

Candidates can follow these steps to register for Inspire Scholarship 2023:
- Visit the official website, online-inspire.gov.in
- For a new scholarship, click on the new user registration page
- Fill out all of the required information and submit it
- Log in with the generated credentials, and the candidate dashboard will appear on the screen
- Open the scholarship link and enter your details
- Click on submit and take a printout of the application form for future reference.
