Insurance Institute of India, FPSB agreement focuses on financial planner certifications and management and executive development programmes.
NEW DELHI: The Insurance Institute of India (III) has announced collaboration with Financial Planning Standards Board (FPSB) India to enhance professional development in the insurance and financial planning sectors. The collaboration aims to co-create and launch joint certification courses on topics of mutual interest, addressing the evolving needs of the industry and equipping professionals with the latest skills and knowledge, the official statement read.
The Indian Institute of India and FPSB India have also decided to work on research projects, surveys, and questionnaires to generate valuable insights and contribute to the advancement of the insurance and financial planning community.
The agreement signing ceremony took place at the Mumbai campus of the Indian Institute of India in the presence of secretary general SN Satpathy, III director Jaipuria, III assistant professor Ramesh Satuluri, and other faculty members.
According to the agreement, both the institutes have pledged to organise joint events, Management Development Programmes (MDPs), and Executive Development Programmes (EDPs). These initiatives will provide high-quality training and development opportunities for professionals in both sectors.
The main highlight of this agreement is the introduction of a fast-track pathway for III students aspiring for Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certifications.
