IPU Counselling 2020: choice filling starts for B.Tech at ipu.admissions.nic.in

NEW DELHI: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), New Delhi has commenced the choice filling process for IPU B.Tech 2020 admissions on October 30. The last date of IPU counselling 2020 B.Tech choice filling is November 8, 2020. Candidates need to visit the IPU B.Tech counselling website at ipu.admissions.nic.in. They will need to enter their application number and password to proceed for IPU B.Tech choice filling.
Steps to IPU B.Tech 2020 Choice Filling
Candidates who completed IPU Counselling registration 2020 for admissions into B.Tech courses between September 25 and October 29 will be able to fill their choices. Those already registered for IPU B.Tech Counselling for 2020 admissions will have to follow the steps provided below for filling their preferences:

Visit the IPU Counselling 2020 website at ipu.admissions.nic.in

Find the link for B.Tech counselling and click on it

Candidate sign in portal shall open for GGSIPU B.Tech 2020

Now enter your application number, password and the security pin mentioned on the page

Click on ‘Sign in’ button

Click on the link to ‘fill preferences’

A list of colleges and courses shall appear on the screen

Select the colleges and courses in the order of preference

Candidates are advised to select maximum number of options to ensure seat allotment
Candidates have to select the preferences within the prescribed period, i.e. between October 30 and November 8. Based on the choices made under IPU B.Tech counselling, allotment of seats shall be done. After IPU seat allotment round 1, candidates will be given a chance to edit/ modify the preferences for further rounds.
It may be noted that the above mentioned IPU CET counselling 2020 dates are for courses in which admissions are offered on the basis of JEE Main. For IPU B.Tech Biotech admissions, choice filling started on October 27 and last date has been extended till November 2.
