IPU Counselling 2026 registration begins at ipu.ac.in; fee details

GGSIPU has opened counselling registration for 2026 admissions. Choice filling starts June 11; seat allotment to be based on JEE Main and IPU merit
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has started the IPU 2026 counselling registration process today, June 10, 2026 on the official website of IPU at ipu.ac.in. The last date to register is June 17, 2026. The seat allotment and counselling will be carried out on the basis of candidates’ performance in the IPU merit list for BTech Biotechnology and JEE Main ranks.

Candidates seeking admission through the counselling process must first finish registration, pay the fee, and submit their preferred choices of colleges and programmes. Those who receive a seat allotment in the first round of IPU CET counselling are required to make the partial admission fee payment within the stipulated deadline to confirm their candidature.
Candidates will be required to fill in their preferred colleges and course streams during the choice-filling process, which is mandatory for seat allotment. The choice-filling window will remain open from 12 noon on June 11, 2026, to 11:59 pm on June 17, 2026.
IPU Counselling 2026: Steps to register
- Visit the official website of IPU
- Enter JEE Main 2026 and basic information to generate login credentials
- Log in and submit the required details along with necessary documents
- Deposit the non-refundable fee online or through the prescribed mode and save the payment receipt
- Select preferred courses and colleges in order of priority and lock the choices before the deadline
- Seats will be allotted based on merit, preferences, and availability
- Candidates accepting the allotted seat must pay a partial academic fee of Rs 40,000
- Candidates may freeze the seat, withdraw from counselling, or participate in subsequent/sliding rounds for better allotment
The official notice reads, “The candidates are advised to fill their credentials as exactly as they submitted on the portals of applicable National Level Test conducting agencies such as NTA, IIM, NIT, MCC, COA etc. while applying in the University for Centralized Online Counselling.”
IPU Counselling 2026: Fees details
Candidates seeking admission through IPU BTech 2026 counselling must pay a non-refundable counselling fee of Rs 2,500, comprising a requisite fee of Rs 1,500 and a participation fee of Rs 1,000, excluding applicable bank charges. The payment can be made online through debit card, credit card, or net banking, while an offline payment option is also available via an Indian Bank challan.
